I’ve been saving the 1L HDPE bottles for a while now, mainly because once you cut off the top and the bottom, you will end up with a nice, straight piece of relatively thick plastic that can be easily shaped and welded into all sorts different things. And so I decided to make another handbag for those who liked my first one, but don’t have a sewing machine. Here goes 😉
This year I decided to make an advent calendar for my little niblings (niece and nephew) to make their run up to the Christmas period a little more entertaining. The calendar is about 50cm tall, so if you would like to replicate this project you will need 4-5 larger boxes. Hope you enjoy this Instructable and have a lovely Christmas 😉
Recently I was invited to a party and I found myself in need of a new handbag. And since I don’t really like to “waste” money for something I might use only a couple of times, I decided to make myself one. I was in a little bit of a rush so it’s far from perfect, but I’m quite happy with the result. My sewing skills and knowledge are quite limited, so please forgive me if the instructions don’t quite make sense 🙂
My mummy loves watching birds in her garden and she has this tree full of flowers and 4 bird feeders. Unfortunately one of the older bird feeders isn’t looking so well anymore, so I decided to make her a new one. She really likes it and so do the birdies. The whole project took about 35 hours to complete and if you fancy having a go here is how 😉
Recently I ordered some hex drill bits for my electric screwdriver and they are awesome, however they arrived without a case and it was hard work trying to find the one I needed at the time. So I decided to make myself a case. For a while I’ve been pondering over the material I want to use for this project, and then it hit me as I was putting a milk bottle into the recycle bin. Why not use the milk bottle I thought to myself? Seems to be pretty sturdy and it’s free (always a good thing).
I was always a fan of the Addams Family, as a little girl I remember watching the TV series and movies with my family. And so recently as I was thinking about getting rid of an old lamp I no longer needed & then I thought why not make it into something cool and so here is how I made the Uncle Fester Lamp.
Following my Cardboard Magic Mushroom Lamp instructable I received a few comments from people saying that they were reminded of smurfs. So I thought why not try to making Smurfette in a similar way. Originally I wanted her to look a little more smurf like, but she turned out to be a bit of a cross between Smurfette and Barbie. But oh well here goes 😀
